Hi
everyone! I am Lily Lee, a junior in the International
School of Beijing. I have lived in China for around
11 years now, but nationality wise I am from Seoul,
Korea. I have been involved in MUN ever since
my freshmen year. I have been to many other MUN
conferences including THIMUN and IASIS, as a reporter
as well as a delegate. But this year’s BEIMUN
will be the first that I would take part as Co-Editor-in-Chief.
This is very exciting for me since it means I
no longer will be busy running around and reporting,
but rather staying in the pressroom editing and
assigning others. I believe the art in a student-run
press is that we are able to communicate our voices
to the world around us, and I feel that Beiwatch
is a perfect model for such. Hope you all enjoy
our issues and best of luck to you all.
